Gina De Felice (Ward 4)
Gina De Felice has lived in West Nyack for 30 years, where she and her husband raised their 7 children. She believes practical and transparent governing is the path to ensuring that Clarkstown remains a wonderful place for families to thrive.
A graduate of Purchase College, Gina was encouraged to “thinkwide open.” She believes this mindset will be an asset when looking for creative solutions to the issues facing our town, such as mindful development, affordability, and the responsible use of our tax dollars.
As the mom in a blended family with 7 active kids, Gina has moved in and out of all aspects of community life: schools, sports, theater, music, dance, parks, concerts, festivals, etc., and is eager to give back to her community. She has also had ample opportunity to hone her active listening and negotiating skills!
Outside the home, Gina has been a preschool teacher, circus arts instructor, caregiver, and freelance proofreader/copyeditor. She has been a volunteer stagehand for the Nutcracker with Rockland Youth Dance Ensemble (RYDE), and sits on their board of governors. The unifying theme that unites these pursuits is this: people do their best with someone behind the scenes making sure they have what they need to be successful.
Gina believes that everyone can thrive if their environment is set up to encourage growth and well-being and she will work to ensure that Clarkstown is that environment.
